WE MADE IT.

WE CAN REMAKE IT.

Whether you own a “New-to-You” Fountain, want your boat in ship-shape order prior to sale, or simply think it’s time for a makeover, the best place to get the job done is the new Fountain Factory Service Center. Because we built it, nobody knows your boat better. In addition to your project list, Fountain Certified includes a comprehensive 76 point inspection checklist to help identify potential problems before they become major headaches. “Fountain Certified” is more than just a window sticker. It’s a profit-making sign of confidence when selling your boat and a must-have if you’re shopping for a used Fountain.

LET US STITCH TOGETHER AN ALL NEW INTERIOR

What’s on your project list? New bolsters, upgraded cushions, a plush cabin sofa or revamped gunwale coaming pads? Unlike most automotive-based upholstery job shops, all we do is boats. Using premium quality materials, new cool-touch vinyls and custom embroidery, count on Fountain Certified for next-level interior styling and comfort.

REBUILD OR REPOWER?
YOU DECIDE.

We’ve sold more high-performance stern drive sport boats than any builder on the planet. From engine and drivetrain repairs, to all new motors, Fountain Certified is your go-to resource for every detail associated with sterndrive power.

MAKE YOUR BOAT LOOK BETTER THAN NEW

You need look no further than a sea of magazine covers to “see” that Fountain has turned boating into an art form. From custom graphics, to wraps, to interior paint and on, we can remake your vintage Fountain to look better than the day it launched.

NEW HIGH-PERFORMANCE PACKAGES MEET EVERY NEED FOR SPEED

MASTER CRAFTSMAN AT EVERY ASPECT OF FIBERGLASS REPAIR

Structural or cosmetic, we offer the most advanced fiberglass work in the marine industry. Over the last 45+ years we’ve evolved in our use of composite materials that perhaps are more advanced than the technology available when your boat was made.

Fountain Certified offers so much more than just boat revitalization. Moving forward, we’ll expand our website to promote the sale of “Certified Used” Fountains. We’ll also stage worldwide auctions online. The goal is to provide a central clearing house for Fountain Owners to actively trade as we  increase value for sellers and peace-of-mind for potential buyers.”

Fred Ross – Chairman, Iconic Marine Group

“I had to rely on the expertise of several different resources when I restored hull #1. With our new Service Center, Fountain owners can get everything done at one place all at the same time. Most importantly, you can bank on the security of knowing the job is done right. Here’s the bottom line: Nobody knows the inner workings of a Fountain better than the craftsman that built it.”

Reggie Fountain – Founder, Fountain Powerboats

“Fountain Certified is the new gold standard for buying, selling and revitalizing used Fountains. We tackle projects others wouldn’t dare attempt. Yes, specialized shops can do engine and drivetrain repairs, but are substandard when it comes to upholstery, hardware or paint. We do it all which saves both time and money.”

Jeff Harris – COO, Fountain Powerboats

Will Your Prices be Competitive?

Yes. Keep in mind, Fountain Certified is not a local job shop, it’s the birthplace of your boat. Smaller, less experienced local providers can’t compete with our decades of experience, quality, know-how, or attention to detail. Our mindset is to do it right at a competitive price.

What About Timing?

We anticipate widespread interest. Orders will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis. Winter is an ideal time to begin major projects.

Do You Provide Protected Storage?

Yes, on a limited basis.

Can I Track My Project's Status?

Periodic updates will be sent via email. A Fountain Certified Customer Service representative will be available via phone or online to answer questions.

Do You Use All Genuine Parts?

Whenever possible, we use Mercury or MerCruiser certified parts for all outboard, sterndrive and drivetrain repairs. Additionally, we use only top tier brands for all mechanical hardware including bilge pumps, trim pumps, trim tabs etc. Many parts, including rails, harnesses, custom rigging and other components will be custom fabricated at Fountain.

Are Factory Visits Available?

Yes. We encourage you to visit our world-class facility and see firsthand why Fountain Certified is uniquely qualified to handle any refurbishing project. Tour our facility and meet the craftsmen and engineers that will ramrod your project.

Will You Water Test Engine and Drivetrain Repairs?

Yes. Like all our new boats, if your boat includes repairs or upgrades to the engines or drivetrain, your boat will be water-tested and include a complete performance report prior to delivery.

Will You Work On Boats Other Than Fountain?

We will consider all projects, but prioritize Fountain owners.

Do You Accept Insurance Work?

Yes. Based on past experience, insurance companies look favorably on factory certified repairs and in  some cases, you can expect faster approval times and higher approval rates.

Can You Convert An Analog Dash to Digital?

Depending on the model, we are able to update most electronic components.

How Far Back Can You Go?

Obviously, the newer the boat, the more likely we can tackle your project. We’ve been building boats for more than 45 years. Many are still on the water today. Refurbishing Reggie’s hull #1 shows the scope of what can be done.
